Cardinality

An avid musician all his life, Cardinality has always been fascinated by many different genres of music. When he finally gained exposure to electronic music in 2005 he instantly fell in love and dedicated much of his time to exploring all it had to offer. As he became more experienced he started making guest mixes for online radio shows, and by the end of 2006 he had purchased his own turntables and started performing for live crowds. Since then he has been devoted to sharing the music he loves at every opportunity.

Cardinality is constantly evolving his style as new music continues to pour into the scene, integrating the latest Electro and House with the flavour of powerful Progressive Trance, and anything else he can find that will contribute to a high energy set. It is his goal to present every set artistically, making the music flow as the songs do on their own, and never using generic filler tracks, while maintaining a level of dynamic intensity that keeps the crowd moving throughout.

Lemniscate

A love of electronic music for as long as she can remember, Lemniscate started mixing a unique blend of house and trance in 2006. After a few months of exposing herself to different genres she was asked to do a guest mix for Progressive at Heart. After her second guest mix she was contacted by the founder of liquid.fm who invited her and Cardinality to host their own show.

Lemniscate handed out her first demo in October 2008 and within a few weeks she played for the first time in a club. Since then she has been developing her own personal style, a unique blend of house, trance, progressive, electro, and breaks. She wants to constantly deliver energetic sets, working in any genre she sees fitting for the moment. Her dedication to selecting only the best tracks will provide a different experience every show.

Binary Reflections began in April when a DJ from liquid.fm heard one of Lemniscate’s guest mixes and invited her and Cardinality to host their own show on the station. The first episode aired on April 17th, 2007, with new episodes airing twice a month. They are also featured on a biweekly radio show on pure.fm called Progresive At Heart. Lemniscate and Cardinality have been spinning in Winnipeg clubs since 2007, and in 2008 they became affiliated with IshGirls. Their vision to spin high-quality sets is met through a tireless search for powerful tracks and dedication to blending transitions harmonically and fluently.
